What is a Creative Retainer? | A creative retainer agreement is a contract between you and me for ongoing support based on a recurring fee.

What services are available in this retainer? |
The guidance and support I offer is multi-layered and considers multiple perspectives when offering a solution to a problem/challenge. There’s never a cookie cutter solution. In being present with you and deeply listening to what is being said (and sometimes not said), the kind of support varies from holding space to process what is happening to strategically creating and implementing a plan that we co-create together. Collaboration is essential to creating a unique pathway or solution to your intention or goal.
A few of the skills and tools on my shelf that are available are dictated truly by your needs known (and sometimes unknown). It’s through our conversation and being present that the combination reveals itself. It becomes very clear to both parties what action needs to logically take place...and together we make it happen.
Think of me as your “IN-HOUSE” Creative Collaborator & Guide/Advocate.

Ninna will consult with you before beginning work to identify any fees or costs that may be billed in addition to your creative retainer agreement.

How does it work? |
A retainer fee is like a monthly support and strategic fee. It is paid up front each month before work is ordered. There is a 3-month minimum with a discount for more hours secured at the start. Essentially, you are paying for continuity of support instead of a specific service. A report of hours will be provided half-way through the month. At the end of the month, if you haven’t used up all of your retainer hours, I will roll over your leftover hours to next month. After one month, the “rollover” hours expire.
Based on the retainer package you select, I will block out my schedule with the estimated amount of hours each month as we discussed. While I make my own hours as I have other projects, you have peace of mind knowing that you will receive continuous project support without having to worry about repeatedly explaining your needs. Note: For time-sensitive/emergencies needs requiring immediate attention, there will be a different hourly rate.
What is the process? |
1. Contact me: Please fill out the form below. I'll set up a 45-minute phone call so I can hear more about your project and so that we can get to know each other. I want to learn all about your projects and intentions. We’ll review your business needs and upcoming projects.
2. Proposal & Paperwork: After our discussion, I will send a Proposal, invoice for the first retainer fee and schedule our first planning and strategy meeting.
3. Project Activities: Implement tasks discussed and continue meeting as needed with time tracked. A report of hours will be provided half-way through the month. For time-sensitive/emergency needs requiring immediate attention, there will be a different hourly rate.
4. End of Month: A report of the time used and an invoice for the next month with any additional costs will be sent. We will repeat the process each month for the remainder of the program you selected.
5. Reevaluate: Approximately, two weeks before the end of the 3-month contract, we will review the program to see if you want to adjust the number of hours reserved each month before signing again.
